Case Studies
Patient Advocacy
Gaucher on the Map
We developed an innovative social media campaign to raise awareness of Gaucher disease. From a new online platform we invited people from every state to offer messages of support to Gaucher families. When they did, their state would "light up" and share their messages.
Leader from the Gaucher disease community called the program "exactly the type of awareness effort we need."
Disease Awareness
DREAMS: My Journey with MS
We worked with singer Kristie Salerno Kent to develop an inspiring memoir of her experiences with multiple sclerosis (MS). The print and digital e-book highlighting the impact of MS on her mobility and quality of life was used to support a national media tour and was a featured selection of MS Society Book Clubs across the U.S.
The digital e-book highlighting the impact of MS was honored in an award ceremony emceed by Meredith Viera.
Disease Awareness
Genetic Obesity Project
To raise awareness of rare genetic diseases that can cause early-onset, severe obesity, we developed The Genetic Obesity Project as a first-ever online platform and social media community where patients, caregivers, and clinicians could share perspectives on advances in research, genetic testing, and clinical trial opportunities.

Media Advocacy
Communications During a Global Health Crisis
Our client SIGA Technologies is a leader in treatments for arthropox diseases including monkeypox (MPOX). When the 2022 outbreak hit, we immediately rallied to help reporters around the world learn about the disease while positioning SIGA spokespersons to offer perspectives on available options in treatment. Our outreach resulted in 100+ top-tier media stories that included interviews with SIGA senior leadership and designated key opinion leaders.
We worked with reporters at every major top-tier media outlet in the U.S., United Kingdom, and Europe including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN and Bloomberg, bringing many of them access to information that they needed for multiple stories.
Awareness Events
Spotlighting the advantages of telehealth
We supported the launch of the first-ever national Telehealth Awareness Week in the U.S., helping the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) establish a new platform to highlight the significant role virtual care plays in expanding access to quality healthcare services. We also developed a full suite of materials to support the ATA Annual Conference & Expo and EDGE Policy Conference, including social media and website content, sales brochures, program books, marketing emails, press releases, media advisories, graphics and promotional toolkits customized for conference sponsors and other stakeholders.
